Pension Reform Costs State 820 Million Euros Over Six Years
The planned pension reform will cost the Cypriot state and the social insurance fund approximately 820 million euros over the coming six years, according to Labor Minister Marino Mousiouta. The minister emphasized that the passage of the social insurance law does not depend on a prior agreement on supplementary pension funds, which will be regulated separately. The reform is to include changes to contribution rates and benefits.
