Pensioner Loses €90,000 in Cryptocurrency Fraud
A retired man became a victim of a cryptocurrency fraud scheme and lost approximately €90,000 over a period of nearly seven months. Unknown fraudsters contacted the elderly man via social media and persuaded him to "invest" in cryptocurrencies. In reality, the man transferred his money to accounts controlled by the fraudsters.
