Pershing Square Acquires Universal Music for $64.4 Billion
Bill Ackman's Pershing Square announces the planned acquisition of Universal Music Group, the world's largest record label, valued at 55.8 billion euros (64.4 billion dollars). The company will merge with Pershing Square and subsequently be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
