Philippines: Firefighters enter burned-out ferry
Philippine firefighters were able to enter the burned-out ferry more than a day after the fire, which occurred during a voyage from Manila to the western province of Palawan. The ship resulted in five deaths and over 80 people missing. Thick smoke and extreme heat had initially prevented entry to the ship.
