Police chase in Nicosia: Van from occupied areas stopped
In the early morning hours, a dramatic chase occurred through Nicosia's streets after a white van illegally crossed from the occupied areas into the free areas. The vehicle was stopped after a chase and gunfire at the scales in Latsia. Two people were arrested, including a Turkish driver with Bulgarian identification, and investigations are underway for cigarette smuggling.
