Police Officer Causes Accident Without Insurance and Under Influence of Alcohol
A 44-year-old special police officer caused a three-vehicle accident in the morning at a junction in front of Nicosia General Hospital, in which two cars were destroyed by fire. The suspended officer was driving without insurance and with elevated blood alcohol levels; the exact circumstances are being investigated by police.
