Police Operations Against Traffic Violations and Drunk Driving
The Cypriot police conducted intensive patrols in various city areas during the night and arrested seven persons for theft, assault on police officers, and other crimes. In parallel, two drivers under the influence of alcohol were removed from traffic, including a 30-year-old in Larnaca, and 194 drivers were cited for traffic violations.
