Police shoot at tires after illegal border crossing in Nicosia
A white van illegally crossed the border from the occupied northern part to South Cyprus, triggering a dramatic chase through Nicosia. Police ended the escape only by shooting at the vehicle's tires near the highway scale in Latsia. The two occupants, including a Turkish driver, were arrested.
