Police warn of fraud campaign with fake authority notices
Cyprus police are warning of a new fraud campaign on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook in which fake police notices are being circulated. The fraudulent posts claim the dismantling of an investment fraud network and urge users to click on a link. Police are appealing to the public not to follow such suspicious messages and not to disclose any personal data.
