Police Warn of Increase in Fraud Calls and Messages
Cyprus's cybercrime department warned the public about multiple complaints regarding fraudulent calls and messages impersonating automated payment service providers. A citizen reported a suspicious call in which the caller claimed to be from a payment service and suggested suspicious activities on the recipient's account.
