Police Warn of Increasing Telephone Fraud
Cypriot police warn the public of a rising number of telephone fraud cases in which fraudsters impersonate representatives of the "European Economic Police." Officers remind citizens that neither the police nor legitimate organizations will ever ask for personal or banking information over the phone.
