Populism Harms Cyprus' Industry
The Cypriot government reclassified an industrial zone in the Dali-Yeri region into a white zone, which prohibits the 50 factories located there since the late 1980s from expanding and developing their operations. This scandal was recently brought back to public discussion by the editor of the Phileleftheros newspaper.
