Potato cultivation newly regulated: Historic reform after 20 years
The Cypriot Parliament has passed a significant agricultural reform, ending a pending issue that has burdened agriculture since 2007. The new legislative text for modernizing and strengthening the Cypriot Potato Trade Council was welcomed as a major success for the government and the Ministry of Agriculture. The measure was a central election promise of President Nikos Christodoulides.
