Power Outage at Central Prison Due to Outdated Infrastructure
Central prisons experienced a brief power outage that left several prison blocks and public areas in darkness. The failure resulted from a malfunction of the aging power supply system, which could not be remedied even by the emergency generator. Inmates remained locked in their cells during the outage.
