Power Outage Crisis Affects Entire Cyprus
A widespread power outage affected various regions across Cyprus shortly before 11 a.m. and affected all administrative districts. According to electricity company AHK, the problem was in the power generation facility for which Cyprus' Independent Transmission System Operator is responsible. A spokesman for the operator reported major production losses.
