Power Outage in Cyprus: Dozens Trapped in Elevators
A power outage affecting various regions of Cyprus led to massive fire service rescue operations. The fire department received dozens of emergency calls to free people trapped in elevators, particularly in Nicosia and Limassol. After power was restored, many elevators functioned automatically again, partially eliminating the need for fire department operations.
