Power struggle in conservative party: Annita against Averoff
A struggle for influence and power between Annita Demetriou and Averoff Neophytou is being fought out in the conservative camp. Averoff is said to have conveyed a message at his last meeting with DISY chair Demetriou, attended also by Feidias Panayiotou, that he is not responsible for her re-election to the parliamentary presidency.
