Power supply: Regulator urges urgent measures
The Cypriot regulatory authority RAEK initiated measures in May to prevent serious electricity shortages from 2030 onwards. This becomes necessary as the Republic of Cyprus will shut down its previous energy sources at the end of 2029. The report criticizes the lack of accountability of the responsible authorities towards the country.
