Power supply secured despite record demand
Cyprus' national energy control center expects no power outages today despite forecasted record demand of 1,350 megawatts. A power unit in Dhekelia that provides an additional 30 megawatts has already been brought online, and a major unit in Vassiliko will follow during the day.
