Prem Watsa: From 1,100 Canadian Restaurants to Goody's Deal
Canadian investor Prem Watsa and his Fairfax group are expanding their activities beyond traditional banking, insurance, and real estate investments. While Watsa is primarily active in these sectors in Greece, the Fairfax group controls Recipe Unlimited in Canada, one of the country's largest restaurant chains with approximately 1,100 restaurants, and has completed a deal worth 300 million euros for the Greek restaurant chains Goody's and Everest.
