President Blocks Nine Laws on Enforcement
President Christodoulides has blocked nine of twelve parliamentary laws from April 6 on topics such as enforcement, insolvency, and guarantors. Five laws were referred back to Parliament, and four others were submitted to the Constitutional Court for legal review. Only three measures, including two government proposals, were signed by the president.
