President shows optimism about restart of Cyprus talks
President Nikos Christodoulides expressed optimism on Sunday about the resumption of negotiations on the Cyprus problem. He expects a positive response from Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhuman and sees no reason why he should not agree to a meeting. The UN is meanwhile preparing a framework for a solution.
