President urges EU Commission to prepare emergency scenarios
President Nikos Christodoulides has instructed the EU Commission to prepare concrete action plans in case of activation of Article 42.7 of the EU Treaty. The article enables collective defense measures by the EU. Christodoulides announced he would bring the issue to discussion at the informal EU summit.
