Presidential Palace Receives Its Own Helipad
The Cypriot police helicopter "Achilleas" conducted its first test flight from a newly constructed helipad on the grounds of the Presidential Palace. The parking area next to the press center was converted into a helicopter landing pad to improve police operational capabilities. Members of the Presidential Guard and the helicopter crew participated in the test flight.
