Pressure on Government for New Measures Against Inflation
With rising inflation, demands from DISY and AKEL on the government to take measures to combat cost of living and energy prices are intensifying. The Finance Ministry forecasts that due to geopolitical uncertainties, the inflation rate could rise to 4% by year-end. Various measures are currently already in effect.
