Prison Administration Denies Illegal Cell Phone Use in Podcast Interview
The Cypriot Justice Ministry denied that a Turkish inmate from the Central Prison illegally used a mobile phone to record a podcast interview. However, video and audio material from the interview has already been distributed on the internet and has reignited debate over inmate control in Cypriot prisons. Former reality TV contestant Taner Tolga Tarlaci is said to have recorded the interview.
