Prison Guard Attacked by Inmate in Cyprus
A prison guard was attacked and beaten by an inmate on Wednesday at the Central Prison facility. The prison guards' union Pasydy condemned the incident and wishes the officer a speedy recovery, while demanding a zero-tolerance policy against violence toward prison personnel.
