Prison Officers and Doctors Charged Over Sick Leave Fraud
Eight prison officers and two doctors are under criminal investigation on suspicion of issuing forged medical certificates without corresponding entries in GESY. The investigation indicates cooperation between medical personnel and prison staff to defraud the state through fraudulent sick leave. Numerous suspicious medical certificates are being reviewed.
