Private health sector withdraws strike after ministerial assurances
The private health sector changed its original decision for a 24-hour work stoppage in hospitals, rehabilitation and palliative centers, polyclinics, radiology centers, and laboratories at the last minute. Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides intervened and promised solutions for the nursing staff shortage problem.
