Private hospitals demand better reimbursement and measures against nursing shortage
Private hospitals in Cyprus have raised demands to improve their financial situation during their annual general meeting. They are calling for fair and adequate payments within the framework of the national health system (Gesy) as well as urgent measures to address the chronic shortage of skilled nursing staff. According to industry representatives, both problems jeopardize the financial sustainability and operational capacity of private hospitals.
