Problems with digital TV transition from DVB-T to DVB-T2
The switch from the old DVB-T to the new DVB-T2 standard caused problems for many Cypriot viewers who could not tune to the new frequencies. Hellas Sat attributed the outages to outdated antenna installations, problematic cabling, and unsuitable decoders. The Innovation Ministry also commented on the issue.
