Progress in wage negotiations for hourly workers
Significant progress was achieved in negotiations on the renewal of the collective agreement for hourly workers in the public service during talks at the presidential palace. The government presented an improved counterposition that met with positive reception from unions. In parallel, however, disagreements remain between the finance ministry and the public service commission over the timeline for implementing a new hiring system in the administration.
