Protests Against Evictions Outside Cyprus Parliament
Hundreds of citizens protested outside the Cypriot Parliament against planned laws on foreclosures and non-performing loans. The demonstrators, organized by the anti-eviction movement, displayed banners reading "Our homes are not for predators" and called on MPs to take their demands seriously. The protests took place before the final parliamentary session before Parliament is dissolved due to upcoming elections.
