Public Sector Employment Rose Slightly in June
The number of Cypriot public employees grew to 55,162 in June 2026, showing an increase of 333 people or 0.6 percent compared to June 2025. While overall public administration employment declined by 1.2 percent and security forces recorded a minimal decrease of 0.1 percent, the education sector saw growth of 3.5 percent.
