Purple jellyfish appear earlier than usual at Greek beaches
Purple jellyfish are appearing unusually early this year at several Greek beaches, with initial sightings near Oropos east of Athens. They have since been observed further south, including at Nea Makri, Zoumperi, and in the port of Rafina. Experts attribute the phenomenon to warmer sea temperatures.
