Queer Movement Condemns Rainbow Flag Incidents as Homophobia
The Queer Collective has condemned repeated incidents during Easter celebrations in which rainbow flags were placed on and burned in lampradzias (traditional Easter bonfires). This is the second consecutive year such incidents have occurred at multiple locations across Cyprus. The movement views this as evidence of structural and societal failures in addressing LGBTQ issues.
