Rare Mediterranean Monk Seal Spotted in Paphos
A Mediterranean monk seal was observed on Thursday in the port of Kato Paphos swimming and diving. The species is one of the rarest marine mammals in the Mediterranean and drew attention from passersby as it performed various diving movements near the shore.
