Cyprus recorded a dramatic increase in construction activity in the first quarter of 2026. The statistical authority Cystat reports an increase in issued building permits of 44.1 percent compared to the previous year. In March 2026, 776 building permits were approved, demonstrating the strong dynamics in the Cypriot real estate sector.
