Record inflows in March - dam water level remains critical
March 2026 recorded record water inflows into Cyprus's dam system with a total of 35 million cubic meters. This is the best month of the past decade. However, the water authority warns that the current dam capacity utilization gives no reason for celebration, as structural water shortage problems persist.
