Record Number of Over 650 Candidates in Parliamentary Elections
According to Chief Electoral Commissioner Elikkos Ilias, the upcoming parliamentary elections in Cyprus will set a record for the number of candidates with over 650 applicants. Approximately 30 parties will run. The electoral commissioner confirms that the use of ballot boxes ensures the secrecy of the ballot.
