Record water inflows in Cypriot dams
March and April 2026 are among the rainiest months in the last four decades for Cyprus's dams. According to the water authority, March 2026 recorded the highest inflow ever measured for that month, while April achieved the second-best result in 38 years. The storage capacity of the dams has increased significantly as a result.
