Recovery of boat fleets off Cape Greco – investigations ongoing
Recovery operations for the wrecks of boats PETSAS I and PERLA BIANCA, which sank off Cape Greco, are scheduled to begin today. Cypriot businessman Dimis Mavropoulos and others died after the boats ran onto rocks during heavy sea conditions. An area between Agioi Anargyroi and Konnos at Cape Greco has been cordoned off for salvage operations.
