Red Cross Condemns Israeli Air Strikes in Lebanon
The International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent expressed deep outrage over Israeli air bombardments in Lebanon, which have caused hundreds of deaths and injuries as well as massive destruction. The organization demanded immediate measures to protect civilians and emphasized that any future agreement for the region must consider the protection of the civilian population. The country is in mourning.
