Red Forest Fire Warning for Friday - 'Most Dangerous Day' Expected
Cyprus remains under red forest fire warning as the forestry authority predicts extremely high fire risks for Friday. The combination of high temperatures, very low air humidity, and strong winds creates the most dangerous conditions of the year. Fire Chief Nikos Longinos warned that Friday could potentially be the most dangerous day of the forest fire season and called on the public to exercise extreme caution during recreational activities.
