Regional administrations gain more say in water management
The Cypriot government has submitted a legislative amendment on water management to Parliament that provides for institutional upgrading of Provincial Self-Administration Organizations (EOA). These are to be upgraded from mere network managers to strategic partners of the state in decisions on water resources. The modernization also affects a revised advisory body.
