Rehabilitation Underfunded: Pension €800, Costs €4,000
Patients with severe orthopedic problems are waiting for rehabilitation services that are not yet covered by the national health system (GySY). A monthly pension of 800 euros plus allowances of 1,200 euros are insufficient for costs of 4,000 euros monthly for necessary rehabilitation. The system is underfunded and new centers must first be approved.
