Removal of parental information from ID cards: Ministry denies responsibility
The Interior Minister emphasizes that responsibility for the removal of parental information from children's ID cards lies with the Population Register, the Ombudsman for Children's Rights, and to a lesser extent with the Police. The issue was recently discussed publicly after a DIKO parliamentary member from Paphos raised the question.
