Renovate-Rent Renovation Program Stalls With Only 86 Applications
The government's Renovate-Rent program to reactivate residential properties is falling significantly short of its goals. Since November 2024, only 86 applications have been submitted, even though the program should return at least 1,000 apartments to the market. While other government housing support programs show results, Renovate-Rent remains a flop so far, despite adequate incentives for property owners.
