Renowned LGBTQI+ Activist Paola Revenioti Passes Away
Greek activist Paola Revenioti has passed away at the age of 68 following cancer. Born in Piraeus in 1958, Revenioti was one of the most significant figures of the Greek LGBTQI+ movement and had a career spanning more than forty years in the activist movement. She was admitted to naval school in 1971 at age 13, from which she was later expelled, and subsequently continued her activism in Athens.
