Researchers develop process to convert plastic waste into hydrogen
Scientists at the University of Cambridge have developed an innovative process that converts plastic waste into clean hydrogen using sunlight. The process functions in a single reactor and simultaneously addresses two major waste problems by converting certain plastics into industrial chemicals while producing hydrogen. The process also utilizes acid from old car batteries, contributing additional recycling solutions.
